Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 c chopped onion
1 12-oz can (1 1/2 c) whole kernel corn
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 c sour cream
1/2 c chopped pimiento (Mom subbed olives. I subbed red bell pepper)
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 c medium noodles- cooked (I used bowtie)
1 cup buttered bread crumbs
1/2 tsp accent (I think this is what the card says, but I have no idea what that means.)
Directions
Brown the meat.
Add onions, cook 'til tender, but not brown.
Add next 8 ingredients (thru noodles), mix well.
Pour into a 2qt casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake in a 350° oven for 30 mins or until hot.
The card says "(supposed to serve 8-10, but around here it does fine for five or six)". Ha! So much for portion control!
The Verdict
Not bad at all. It doesn't look very pretty, but it tasted better than I remember, especially with NO OLIVES!
